Ex Situ is an international group exhibition with artists and works addressing the constantly changing conditions of forms of life on planet Earth. At a time of accelerating transformations in global ecosystems, humans and other animals leave and lose their natural habitat. The exhibition reflects the unruly state of migrating species trying to adapt to a new world where nature, culture and technology are inextricably entangled and enmeshed. The exhibition is the result of a cultural partnership between the city of Basel, the Swiss ambassador in Denmark, CHART and Copenhagen Contemporary. Switzerland conquers highest mountain in Copenhagen
Monday 9th October 2017
Winter came already to Denmark exclusively a few days ago. The Head of Switzerland Tourism Nordics Adrien Genier and the Swiss Ambassador to Denmark, Benedikt Wechsler climbed up Copenhill to mark it as alpine winter territory for a while and posed the Swiss flag. Protected by three majestic St. Bernhard dogs who visibly enjoyed the spectacular view and surrounded by the representatives of the great winter resorts, Laax, Arosa, Lenzerheide and St. Moritz journalists and tour operators dived into the great new offers for an exciting winter season in Switzerland 2017/2018. Savoring an authentic Swiss raclette, Swiss wine, alpine beer from Valais and last but not least the national fresh drink Rivella on the highest mountain in the Copenhagen area they were all very excited to welcome the first snow. If they would catch a cold, Ricola mountain herbs would cure them very fast. Upgrade your winter as well and come to Switzerland for a unique alpine experience.
